Dry and snuggly!

What spectacular weather! Torrential rain this morning with serious thunder & lightning. At about 10.00 am, there was one almighty bang which shook the house. We soon found out that the local parish church had been hit and serious damage done. Roads round about were closed and some adjacent buildings evacuated.
After lunch, the sun showed up, the puddles began to dry and we ventured across to the Helix park with James. The water jets by the lagoon were working and James had lots of fun splashing and being splashed. We had brought a big fluffy towel and spare clothes so we soon had the soggy boy warm and dry again.
