Kailzie Gardens

Pronounced Kay-lee in case you're interested. These gardens are a few miles outside Peebles in the Scottish Borders and although I had been to the cafe a couple of times, I had never visited the gardens. G and I had lunch outside at the cafe (in italics because it was supposed to rain hard all day - it did rain hard in the morning with a fair amount of the promised thunder and lightning, but then it cleared up and was even sunny much of the time) and then looked at the gardens which were a little unkempt, but all the more attractive for that. We went back to the cafe for tea and cake after our exertions, but I think the calories won.
