Wet pavement

The day started with a spectacular thunderstorm - it suddenly went as dark as night at 9 am, followed by about an hour of thunder and lightning and very heavy rain. By lunchtime it was a lovely warm day again.

We went to see the Rad Trads perform in the Spielgel Tent in Edinburgh as part of the Jazz and Blues Festival and then we went to the Portrait Gallery.
