GOAL!!!

A bit of a consolation goal for Belarus to make the final score Egypt 3 - Belarus 1. It made my nephew happy though; this was his first ever football match and he was supporting Belarus. Why was he supporting Belarus? Because it sounds a bit like Bulgaria. Hmmm. No, I've no idea what logic that represents either.

I feel if he is going to have a life as a Scottish football fan he better get used to defeat. Still, these things are difficult when you are nearly 7 years old and just expect that everything will work out as you planned.

A really good afternoon; great people watching and a nice laid back happy atmosphere. Loads of Egypt fans in and around the stadium, all flags and painted faces. Even a woman in a fez.
