Coutances cathedral
Notre-Dame de Coutances was built in the 13th century, on the site of an earlier Norman cathedral..
Its towers are 295 feet (90 metres) high, dominating the landscape for a considerable distance; it can even be seen from as far away as the island of Jersey.
