Winter Evening

It has been a busy day. Friend Joe came for lunch..he brought a delicious fish pie that Judy, his Mum, had made. Then Joe helped with some gardening, moving heavy pots for me. Later we drove to the Taylor Dam where I walked Maisie and Joe did some photography. Tonight Joe, Ricky and I went to a " Forest and Bird" meeting to hear a presentation about the extremely rare seabird, the Taiko, found only in the Chatham Islands. A very interesting evening.
