up on the hill

We picked up our new (to us ) car this morning, at long last.

A friend I dont see too often came and took me out to lunch today, which was nice, and nicer because as part of the Arts Festival there was live music in the bistro, two girls with wonderfully sweet voices.

Later we went out for a drive. Unexpectedly, the rain had stopped and it became a bright, warm evening, everywhere looking beautiful
