And I can now see why my Dad loved this place in Croatia.  It is usual to walk around the ancient outside wall but with very high temperatures, we decided not to attempt it, preferring to wander amongst the lovely inside narrow cooler streets.

Due to the conflict between the Serbs and Croats, the damage has been repaired so all the roofs now are repaired.  In fact rumour had it that those who didn't suffer damage created their own to get a new roof!!
