Craftsmanship
The windmill " de Zwaan" (the swan) in Ouddorp is build in 1846 and was in use till 1975 to grind barley.
We were allowed to go all the way to the upper chamber and outside on the carpentry. Taking care for the mill blades.
On the first floor, a workshop for clogs was installed. The original clogs maker was to old and had no successor, so he gave all his equipment to the mill for storage and display. As long as you take good care of the tools and don't let it rust. The clogs maker came once to have a look. He couldn't climb the wooden ladder so the hoist him up in a chair.
He was very happy to she his tools in very good shape.
