Germany Day 4 - Drinking With a Rock God
The extra shows the band ‘Borderline Crossing’ playing outside a music pub in Bunde last night. They were given a red carpet, a corner of the bier garten, all the water they could drink, a very appreciative audience (age range 3 months to approximately 75 years) and pizzas in the interval.
It’s not everyone who gets chance to drink in a cafe the day after a big gig with one of the *Rock Gods from the band. Lucky, lucky me!!
My German word of the day doesn’t have a bear in it. ‘Balconsanierungsplatten’ is someone you might call to come and repair your balcony. ‘Pfifflinge’ came a close second as word of the day. Apparently this is some kind of mushroom. I could have had some on a pizza. Still no sign of the word hamster and I looked in the window of an underwear shop to see if I could catch sight of the word bustenhalter. Didn’t spot it.
* You can tell he's a Rock God because of the grainy B&W image and the enigmatic logo on his T-shirt!!!
