Yesterday was very yellow

... today is very green.

I really like both of these and may do some more in the same vein. Ooh get me with me series, clearly been bitten by the pretentious fly.

This green is just fabulous isn't it? These tiny little button chrysanthemums are often overlooked in a bouquet, indeed they are used as 'filler' to pad out the more expensive, snobby blooms like roses, sunflowers and the dreaded gerbera.

Admittedly they do look a bit like lettuce in this photo but I can promise you it would be a very very teeny salad. The sort of salad even my teenage daughter would eat and not complain loudly about.

Well not that loudly anyway.
