butterflies...

It's not been a great year for butterflies so far so it was lovely to see this fresh looking small tortoiseshell feeding on the lavender at Old Moor today.

I also had a lovely long sighting of a female kingfisher, a male emperor dragonfly (my fav) and many burnet moths... then there's a little, little owl that appeared on the wall today too :)
