Brown Butterfly

I'm not sure what it is, there were a few of them and they were quite shy, I couldn't get near them when their wings were open. It was quite a breezy day with little sun so I was surprised to see butterflies about.

I have just had an update from a friend on Facebook that it is probably a Gatekeeper or Hedge Brown
