Flo's 4 hour hair do! She tells me that apart from a headache for a few hours, she now has to do nothing to her hair for 2-3 months other than wash it once a week very gently and put some oil in . I so wish that I could carry that look off, but it really really just wouldn't be quite the same on this 'skinny arsed white girl' (her quote not mine)!!

Front line staff are the target again, so the unions are in today and there's some fighting spirit but I have no idea if it'll really help. We're told there might not be enough in the purse to pay us come the end of the year, yet we're the ones delivering the babies. These are darkly depressing times indeed in the Irish health service.
