Big skies and round the edges

It was a lovely, not too hot but definitely dry day here today. I decided to do the full circuit of Holy Island including the pilgrim poles before heading over a wide strand on the north side of the island.
Walking slowly
Breathing deeply
Small cairn built
Sat quietly in the evening sun alongside Cuddy I can feel the loss and pain inside still resisting the presence and offer of peace in the gentle ebb and flow of the tide.
