Morston Hall
Geoff's (very belated) 60th birthday treat: we had dinner and stayed the night at Morston Hall, home of Michelin star chef, Galton Blackiston. We had a wonderful meal and a beautiful room. It was a 7 course tasting menu and included fish pie (I can't find the recipe irritatingly), scallop, braised ox tail, lamb, BBQ pineapple and elderflower panna cotta. I am not keen on panna cotta and so had a fruit salad with blackcurrent sorbet. The whole experience was fantastic.
