Dreaming of arriving!

After a good breakfast at the hotel, a long trek by car along a straight road. Sun and lots of interesting wild flowers including reeds and something reminiscent of cow parsley. Those nearest to the cars bobbing in their tail wind! Very green with both conifers and deciduous trees together. Now and again glimpses of water. I wanted to go nearer the river and we decided to go to a town called Cornwall. On the way saw lakes with Islands etc. Beautiful! Not the quaint old town at all, but the usual large box shops. We stopped and bought some cut up raw veg with a ranch sauce dip. Yum! Some fruit and croissants and ate in the car. Arrived at the hotel in the outskirts of Montreal around 3.30. We might try and get a train into the centre later....
