Wind pump on the Blyth

Tuesday was the most gorgeous day ever.  This is a blip of the old wind pump, now capped and no longer working, that used to help drain the marshes.  To the left you can just see the line of the River Blyth and the mauve flowers in the foreground are statice or sea lavender, dry 'everlasting' flowers which grow on the mud in profusion.
