spiderella and the hornet

Another fine day,  true summer.

Driving through Skibbereen this afternoon I spotted this huge silver spider on the side of the road and had to jump out and get a blip. 

Turns out it was made by a good friend of mine, my eldest grandson's dad, Noel Molloy, known as Moz,  who is a talented metalwork artist.
We had a great chat, and it turns out spiderella is going to be in the O'Donovan Rossa Park all weekend for the Art's Festival. Worth a look.
