Beauty or beast??

This year's wet weather has allowed the bindweed to escape from our control, and it now festoons significant parts of the garden. Unfortunately the roots are deep in a rockery that we inherited, and so digging it out just isn't an option. Most years we just keep pulling it, but this summer there just hasn't been enough gardening time to keep up with the rampant growth. The upside of this is a profusion of perfect white blooms, that look quite spectacular when lit up by the low evening sun.
