Was there ever a car more beautiful than this? Even Enzo Ferrari was an admirer, he once praised the Jaguar E-Type as the most beautiful car ever made.

This one is an immaculately restored very early example. It was made in December 1961, in the first year of E-Type production. I spent this morning in its illustrious company for a magazine photoshoot.

It's for sale. I'd be sorely tempted, except for the price. It's expected to fetch almost £quarter million!
