Baobab Sunset

We had a wonderful day today; went on a guided tour/walk up Mapungubwe Hill with a delightful guide, Cedric. He was very enthusiastic about the history of the site, certainly knew his stuff and made the hill (147 steps up and again down the side of the hill!) hike very interesting. No written history for the tribe here, only oral, so the history is being pieced together from artefacts and finds on the hill and the surrounding area. The extra is a shot of the valley in the early morning en route to the Royal Hill. The main shot is the glorious African sunset behind one of the many Baobabs in the area.
