Friday: Opening Night

It was, more or less, my first day solo today. My predecessor was in but just for a few hours - it is an odd feeling at this stage, knowing you just have to get on with it and build up confidence.

K. and I decided to head out locally tonight. We went to a Vietnamese restaurant - it turned out to be opening night. There were some minor teething troubles but I suspect we'll be back.
