Shimmering Sails

All this week Cowes has hosted a regatta of classic yachts with some racing each day.However during the heat wave the winds have been light or non existent so not a lot of action to see.
Whilst the fleet was waiting for a breeze I decided to try to give an impression of the light and heat by using a combination of in camera double exposure, a touch of ICM and over exposure of the image.
As usual most of the attempts were rubbish but there were some I liked and I find that with lots of practice the hit rate is getting better.
