to Delight in Simple Things

I grow my own onions and leeks.

I dry them off in the greenhouse and that is where they are left until consumed.

However it is a very easy job to put aside two or three of the biggest and best and replant them the following Spring.

It does not take too long before they form seed heads and the pollinators are attracted.  By autumn the seed heads can be removed and dried, ready for the next crop.

Forget about 100 seeds in a commercial packet this way there are thousands!
