Delightful

A hot morning at the allotment. We cut back the grass and then laid down about 30 metres of weed suppressing black sheeting. I am hoping it will keep the grass back so I have to do less strimmimg - it has been hard work keeping on top of it these past few weeks. Harvested lots of French beans, the last of the gooseberries and my first two courgettes - exciting. We are planning a BBQ this evening so these will go well in our vegetable kebabs. I think I will need to make a French bean salad to use up some of the beans! I hope you are all having a lovely Saturday.
