The Living is Easy

A real Summer's day feeling today. I went for a wander this morning down to a small local cemetery to see if there were any fungi fruiting yet. Just a few under the trees, but there were plenty of butterflies around including my first comma of the year (extra). 
When we first moved here just over 3 years ago, I used to wander the tracks nearby quite often but now I often go a little further afield. I'd forgotten how lovely the views are from here, but today there was the added bonus of poppies.
This afternoon was a friend's birthday garden party which was very pleasant.
