Derwent Water

Before heading home I decided to go up to Latrigg to get a blip.  I haven't been up there before, or I would have known about the 'interesting' approach road. 

The views are impressive and both Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite can be seen. (My attempt at a hand-held panorama was a bit ropey.)  This shows Derwent Water and some of the distinctive fells which surround it.

The long drive home was made even longer by 'incidents' and subsequent delays... but I made it in the end.
