The Roaring 20's, Bexhill-On-Sea

A day along the seafront with the roaring 20's theme. There were so many events taking place, among them  the official attempt at the most people dancing the Charleston at one time. We haven't got the results yet but I'd never seen so many dancers in all their finery as they lined up along the promenade. My pictures show some of them. Shame I couldn't join in, maybe next year! Also entertaining were The Lindy Tappers, Savoy Kicks, Prohibition Stunt Action, 18 piece Swing Shift Big Band, plus a 1920's market, Punch and Judy and vintage children's funfair. My daughter and a young family member got on the dance floor, they were very good too. A brilliant day out.
