Where's the Water Gone?!

Corra all ready for a swim in the pond behind our place ... but the pond is all dried up ;_; It was really weird, there were still water lilies, but the ground was almost bone dry. Grasses are taking over and wild flowers are growing in. I'm not sure if this happens every year or not, I don't typically go out there during the summer. Though I remember frogs all through the summer =\ Explains maybe why we've been seeing a lot of frogs hopping around our complex, their home dried up!

So Corra's awesome new life jacket we got her for vacation is still untested! She wasn't in the least bit concerned about it however when she was wearing it on our walk/adventure in the dried up pond. I'll have to take her somewhere else for a test ;) Loki really got into exploring the empty pond too, lots of stuff to sniff. Good dogs.
