That night at the east prospect dining room table when etherghost and stewartbremner encouraged me to start a blip journal, they said it would happen. Self portraits. I remember vehemently denying the possibility.

But they were right, of course.

I'm planning a series of self-portraits for August, my birthday month, as a challenge to myself to be brave, to take a risk, and have some fun. I suspect a lot of them will be blurry and timid, but, well, baby steps, baby steps...
