What a daft name for a beautiful lake. This was the base for the "training" area- ie where we go out in terrain similar to the real orienteering event to see what we have let ourselves in for. Lots of small bushes underfoot and lots of moss slows down the competition to my pace . Son M saw a bear. He said it was "pegging it" in the other direction.
