Textures

Textures are the contrasts of the tactile world.  Infrared photography picks up subtle textures that escape us in the visible spectrum.  The initial image actually displays much less contrast, but details are hidden within unsuspecting pixels.  With just a little manipulation, though, the image "pops" into amazing textural focus.
