Sun/rain shade

We bought this last year and never quite got round to getting all the bits for putting it up. Think the lack of sunny weather last year didn't help :-D So it's now up, hooray! And here the boys are enjoying a drink and crisps under it... I expect to sit out eating breakfast in the garden no matter the weather now! Boys enjoyed playing in the garden and helping cut the grass while we put it up and til it was dark. Their feet and knees were green - a proper scrub in the bath was required!

We had a really busy day of jobs. We all worked on cleaning all the windows in the house - there are a lot and they are big. It took us all morning. They were well overdue a good clean. We cleaned up the trip trap highchairs, the wooden easel and the little micro scooter all ready to gumtree. Good to be clearing out stuff that's been filling the spare room for ages. I 'ebayed' a load of stuff too. We sorted some shelves for me to use at the Scotyish Design Exchange. The washing to be put away pile is huge now too...a job for tomorrow!
