Early morning sky
We woke to no fog this morning, which is very unusual for this time of the year. Instead, we had this magnificent red sky as the sun was rising, which usually means that we are going to be in for a wet day. While we did have a few clouds, the sun came out, and proved me wrong, although it has become a bit cooler later this afternoon.
This photo was taken over our farm at about 7.40am this morning, and I again took it in the RAW format. I loved the result.
We have had a busy day, with this morning taken up with feeding out. We had another calf born overnight, so had to seperate the mother and calf from the main herd and put them in another paddock. It is a nice little Jersey bull calf - and sounds like Farmerboy has fallen for it and has decided to keep it to rear as a breeding bull. This afternoon we had our Farm Advisor visit - he has not long left, then around the cows again to check to see if anyone has calved during the day, and back home for tea.
Many thanks for your kind comments relating to yesterday's blip of the cow and her calf, and also the processing of my picture in RAW format. The picture made it to spotlight, which I'm chuffed about. So thanks everyone!
