On our walk we saw part of the banking had been dug out by an animal...on closer inspection the hole revealed an exposed wasps nest,
I'm guessing that it was a badger, The hole is very cleanly cut and wonderfully accurate. I know badgers are very fond of bumble bee nests but didn't know they were attracted to wasps as well. A slightly more perilous target. Anyway...I've never seen this before, it was fascinating.
