THE MISSING BUMBLE BEE

Hollyhocks & bumble bees go together like  buddleias & butterflies. Round here the Turks appear to be hollyhock mad. They remind me of my green-fingered grannie...

Anyway - there was me trying to photograph this beautiful bee with pollen all over his bum - and my fumbly forefinger totally fluffed it!!

Chuffed to watch Lewis Hamilton nick the Hungarian Grand Prix from Nico Rosberg :o)

Later on I was filled with righteous indignation at the IOC's feeble decision not to ban the dope-cheating Russians from the Rio Olympics.
The International Olympic Committee could do with a serious testosterone supplement...
