Lunch at Joanna's
Very nice relaxed Barcelona Sunday. We had breakfast on our patio this morning with Helen. Not an early start, just like Sundays should be. Then we headed up to Joanna's 'new' flat in Gracia for lunch with her, her 11 yr old daughter Paloma, and Nigel and Mireia. She bought it in January this year and it's lovely, lots of light and with interesting features and scope to make a few changes when she feels inclined. Lovely lunch and easy company. We've all known each other since 2001 when Nigel, Joanna and I studied for our Cambridge DELTA together. See Bb's blip for out late afternoon sit up on her terrace. We left Joanna's and Bb and I walked down through the heart of Gracia and the street communities are in full preparation mode for the Gracia Fiesta Major, which starts in a few weeks, lasts a week and a big part of it is the streets all getting decorated in a theme and then a competitor for the best dressed streets.
