White Wings

Our first full day of cruising the Canal-du-Midi, phew, what a scorcher! We've made good progress, mastered more of the boat systems, had a small incident with a bridge (no lasting damage) and even called out the boat company as we got quite concerned just how long the bilge pump was running. Thankfully there was a very easy explanation, it runs with the air con is on! Oh well, better that than we sink the boat!

A really lovely meal in a canal side restaurant this evening was a treat we felt we'd earnt. Tomorrow we will be back in Carcasonne but this time by boat.
