What she loves best

Woo Hoo....it is finally here! Our big camp trip!  Love it....we look so forward to this event each summer.  Sugar says it is her favorite event of the entire year....even better than Christmas.  That is saying a lot, I think.  She plans for this trip all year....and quite frankly...so do I.  

Us girls set the alarm on Saturday, because we didn't trust ourselves to be up at a reasonable hour to get going.  It still took us 2 hours from alarm to driving down the highway in the "one dollar wonder" (motorhome).  We were happy and excited.  We were the first to arrive, as usual, and got our spot all set up.  Then we went up to my parent's house to get Sugar's 4-wheeler.  When we arrived back at camp...another family had started setting up!  YES!!!  Let the fun begin.  Soon we were down at the river, and as you can see, Ivy dog got right work swimming.  This girl LIVES for the water, and it is fun to see her swim.  I settled into a chair in the shade, and started reading.  Sugar joined the other kids in play....it was delightful.  

Soon everyone was there....and we had camp set up.  Dinner was simple hot dogs and hamburgers....and lots of conversation.  Love it.
