Roses in the night

Spent the day gardening.  Found some big pots of mums for the front porch and another forlorn day lily, pink this time.  Very beautiful.  My Uncle called at 6:00 said he had tickets to A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder that was happening at 7:00 So I took a shower and rushed downtown.  So happy I did.  It is a musical based on the movie Kind Hearts and Coronets.  I remember watching it with my dad and he was cracking up through the whole thing.  Well he would have loved this.  The acting was wonderful - it is adapted by Steven Lutvak and Robert Freedman.  Just finishing in Seattle but has been on Broadway.  A really hilarious show, and wonderful set and costumes.  Hope you had a good weekend.
