'Graffiti or Art'

Another cold start to the day with near freezing temperatures out our way.

I got up early to watch the final of the men's 200m freestyle in London, where James Magnussen was a real chance at a gold medal, unfortunately he was beaten on the very last stroke of the swim by 1/100th of a second. Still a brilliant swim, and glad I watched it.

At lunchtime I visited Hosier Lane in the city. a small cobblestoned laneway on the southern edge of the city grid. It's known for it's high quality 'Urban Art' and attracts a lot of visitors all happily snapping away. There was actually a professional photo shoot happening half way up the lane, with a model performing some unusual poses against one of the walls. Probably a fashion shoot or something similar.

Trying to pick the photo to blip tonight from the bunch I took today was difficult because there are so many good shots to be had.
