Birthday spent on a catamaran on the Great Barrier Reef which included snorkelling at an outer reef and Michaelmass Cay for 3.5 hours in total.

Saw a variety of fish - big, small, fat, thin, brightly coloured, not so bright. In schools, playing truant. One getting groomed by a smaller fish. Saw a sea turtle and lots of coral. It wasn't as bleached and dying as what I thought it would be, but that was admittedly only a small area .

A great way to spend a significant birthday.
