Grasshopper Days

After the rain yesterday which really cleared the air and left everything in the garden looking lush and green, it was a nice surprise to pop my head out of the front door and see this little chap perched amongst my roses.

He seemed happy enough until Thea discovered him and decoded it would be a good idea to try to play with him. He's now been rescued and placed in the safety of the hedge (and the silly cat is still staking out the rose bushes looking for him - and she's only been caught by the thorns twice).

Today's extra shot is one of raindrops on one of the white flowers by the hedge. No idea what it is but everything looks much prettier with raindrops on.
