The scattering
Today a group of people met at Worth Matravers to scatter the ashes of an old old friend, the OM, in a place chosen by him some years ago, over the cliff at Winspit. His half sister, Ceridwen and her family and my brother R, me and N, and a Hungarian friend S with her boyfriend Z. My grandfather played a large part in the OM's life since his parents were not always available in his life and he used to spend many Christmas's and holidays with our family until mobility became difficult in old age.
We will remember him and this day with fondness. It was brilliant with the sun shining and the sea so blue ..... he would have loved to have joined the party with us all together.
Ceridwen has written in much more detail.
