Pretty in Pink

An alpine willowherb, Epilobium dodonaei, happily perennial in the garden but thankfully not free seeding like it's weedy native relatives.  My friends, the alpine blippers will soon be seeing it high in the mountains where it flowers in the second half of summer.  

While J looks pretty in pink, she's beautiful in blue .... the colour of her new summer dress :-)
