impromptu dinner

I was making veggie lasagna yesterday because it had been a while . . . and I felt like it. Then I got the idea to see if friends Dave & Helen plus Kathy could join us, and they could! We all enjoyed, including our cats Luna & Lightning. Bottom right they are investigating the paper umbrellas we added to the gin cobblers!! That's made of pineapple, raspberries, orange & grapefruit all muddled together and shaken with a bit of gin (not too much). very fresh & fruity - fun.... Oh yes, and I have taught myself how to make Key Lime Pie from scratch!
