Blue dusk

I've not filtered or enhanced this photo, taken at 10pm this evening as we left the Osborne Hotel in Innellan. I'd been in more or less all day, and though I'd taken a photo of a rainbow through the window, I'd nothing really worth blipping. And then I saw that lurid yellow plant above the shore, and the Firth stretching down to Arran beyond it ...

At least the rain had stopped. There was no wind, and there were midges. We'd been out for dinner because the first coat of varnish is drying on the dining room floor and the kitchen is out of bounds. The end is nigh ...
