Links to now and then

the theme for Mono Monday today is "Links".

My daughter always wears really nice jewellery.  She bought me this necklace and I have some earrings to match.

And the lovely linked necklace is on a Bagpus hot water bottle.  A link to my past.  Although I am getting older I never grew up and I still sleep with my Bagpus hot water bottle when it is cold.

Do you remember the original Bagpus? The first children's programmes that I remember are much older and were in black and white.  Just like MonoMonday.

Mr F is away on business.  My daughter's boyfriend kindly walked Murphy to help me. Murphy had another birthday cake today.
