Links to the Past

This little ring is a link that connects our family.  It once belonged to my Great Grandmother, who gave it to her eldest daughter- who gave it to her younger sister, my grandmother, who passed it on to my mother, who then passed it on to her first cousin, who passed it on to me when I was 16.  I passed it on to my sister blipper KD, who passed it on to my oldest daughter who passed it on to P. my youngest daughter.  We know it is over 100 years old.  Strangely  I met a  relative who was descended from the sister of that Great Grandmother who had  a very similar ring.  Thank you P for sending the photo.
